The Detectors window is the main window in determining the logic of operating the system. This window defines the algorithms that are active in detecting exceptional situations. Details of each Detector's operation are provided in a separate document on the documentation website. Note that each Detector has several parameters that affect how it works besides the description and the sensor on which it operates. The most important is the residence time, which determines how long a warning is declared after the moment of discovery. Each Detector has up to 6 parameters that affect its operation. All detectors can also have rules for operation, and the rules are selected from the rules defined in the system. Each Detector also contains the severity of the fault it is alerting to and the alert policy. At the bottom of the screen is a screen for displaying different information about the Detector.
